Community Guidelines

Reviews help people make better decisions. These rules keep them useful and fair.

Keep it honest and respectful. Share firsthand experiences, stick to facts, and avoid insults, threats, private information and unsupported allegations. Content may be moderated or removed. Community Guidelines

Share firsthand experiences

Only review things you've experienced yourself. Don't post on behalf of others, and don't review a business you own, work for, or compete with.

Opinion vs. factual claims

  • Opinion: "I found the staff unhelpful." This is your view and is welcome.
  • Factual claim: "They charged me twice." Be accurate and be prepared to stand behind it.
  • Allegation: "The owner is a criminal." Serious accusations about wrongdoing aren't allowed unless established — they are held for review and usually removed.

Not allowed

  • Threats, harassment, insults or hate speech
  • Private information: phone numbers, personal emails, home addresses
  • Content about someone's private life, rather than a service or experience
  • Spam, advertising, or fake reviews
  • Knowingly false or misleading statements

How moderation works

Every review is automatically screened. Offensive words are masked as ****, private details are redacted, and potential allegations or threats are held for a human moderator. We don't silently rewrite reviews; any change is labelled.

Removal requests

Use "Report review" on any review, or contact us. We assess every request against these guidelines and applicable law.
