Search

Phone and email searches only match contact details publicly listed by a business. We don't create profiles of private individuals from names or contact details.

Reviewers

You don't need an account to write a review. We never display your email address or phone number. Original submissions are stored securely and are visible only to authorised moderators.

IP addresses

When you submit a review we store your IP address with it to prevent spam, fraud and abuse — for example, to spot many reviews coming from one place. It is visible only to authorised moderators, who are also recorded with their own IP address when they approve, reject or escalate content.

Automated screening

Each review is checked by automated rules and by an AI model hosted in Microsoft Azure, which identifies offensive language, personal information and other content that breaks our guidelines. Contact details are removed before the text is sent for screening. The AI can only flag parts of your text for removal or send a review to a moderator; it never rewrites what you wrote.

Security

Reviews, IP addresses, contact messages and other personal information are encrypted at rest with keys held only by Candor, in addition to the encryption provided by our hosting platform.
